Bleeding Question

Finally got my 4 piston calipers to go with my OE BBK. However I do have one question. Once I get the time to put these on Which order do I bleed each caliper, or does it make a difference? I have the factory sequence for the order by corner, but each caliper has two bleed screws, one outer one inner. Based on previous experience, I plan on the outer (farthest distance) first, unless some one has a better insight.

FSM says, for an '04 coupe with Brembos, the order is:
Right rear brake → Left front brake → Left rear brake → Right front brake

Do the factory Brembos have one or two bleeders on each front caliper? My new calipers each have two bleed screws.

You always bleed the caliper farthest from the MC first...

Its RR.. LR.. RF.. LF

That is what I thought, however the Factory manual disagrees. It supposedly has something to do with the electronics. You are even supposed to disconnect the battery. See attached PDf

So the order on each caliper doesn't matter?

Itdosn't appear to matter. I have readseveral, different opinions and some say inner first some outer. I am going to do the outer first, fartherst from input line.

Could you do a follow up once you've installed the calipers? I just got the same kit but haven't had time to do the work yet. I'd be interested to know how it goes.

I'll definitely be poating a write up once I do teh install, hopefully next weekend. Which Z springs are you running and diid you have any alignment issues? I am planning to do my suspension, later this fall. I am either going with teh Bilstein PSS9 coilovers or Bilstein shocks, and some other springs.

i was also under the impression to start bleeding further out from the MC and work your way to the closest. i'll be interested in your follow up posting as well.

Unrevised f/r with no alignment issues. That's the main reason I went with the z springs so I wouldn't needed to worry about it. That and I didn't want to slam the thing.

Probably won't be able to do my caliper install until May... sucks because I was really wanting to see em on the car!

Sorry. As GGRJR posted, the Service Manual says you're wrong. Remember, there's an ABS module/EBFD actuator in play here that affects the answer. The brake lines don't run straight from the MC to the calipers:

i'm glad you picked these babies up bro! You've been talking about em for a long time to go with your OE caliper BBK kit. Should look nice on your sedan (almost identical to mine). Those 350z track wheels should clear these with room for a whole arm to spare lol
