Dropping My Car
Dropping My Car
Im planning on lowering my car. Can I just do the springs, or do I have to do the Spring and Shock kit?
If I can just do the springs are there any Negative effects by just doing them?
Thanks

you can just do springs - however it's best to do them both at the same time
negative effects of just changing springs - ride will not be nearly as nice, stock shocks will most likely wear out quicker due to the different spring rates
I did that on my last car - it was a rough ride - this time i went full coilover and i am extremely happy.

There is a wealth of info on here for that.
search, research, and do your due diligence before just ordering parts and jumping in.
Doing it right doesn't necessarily cost alot but you gotta know what to get and the obstacles to overcome
