For Those With Coilovers

Just curious, how much of a PITA is it to change the height on the coilovers? My GSXR suspension is a coilover and it sucks trying to adjust it. Not that its hard to get to, it's just hard to turn the coller when there is pressure on it. Is it like that on a car? Do you have to jack it up? What steps are required for the change? Thanks

You need to raise the car to relieve the pressure. Makes it a whole lot easier. Takes me about 30-45 minutes to do all four wheels.

What do you do with the toe/camber settings when you change the height? I assume those specs change any time you fiddle with the ride height

One of my rears needed adjustment and it was jacked up. It was such a PITA I thought I had crossthreaded the coilover, however it was the pressure on it that made it so difficult.

Yes, they do change. You need to have an alignment done any time you change ride height.
