Sedan springs on a coupe??

Ok. So my friend has an 03 sedan and I have an 03 coupe. He has a set of Eibach pro lowering springs and is going to give them to me if they fit. So will they? I know the sedan is not as heavy as the coupe so would that make a difference? Any info would help. Thanks!

Um, if you're into that 4 x 4 look, it would work.

there's only a 50 lb weight difference between your cars. Try putting them on and post a pic. I'd be interested in what it looks like.

If your getting the eibach springs then you wont look like 4x4.. but if your putting on his stock springs prepare to ride g35 on high.. thats prolly wut his talking about.. im curious to see what sedan eibach springs look on a coupe..

Ah you're right. Sorry to the OP. Eibachs lower the sedan about 1"-1.5"??

so on a coupe, it should lower it 0.5" - 1"?

Basicly whatever it lowers the sedan, minus 0.5" from that. Might not be worth it to you unless you are only looking for a slight drop and the higher springs rates the Eibachs might give.

sorry if there was confusion. To clarify, he has a set of eibach springs that he is not using and is going to give them to me. So I won't be putting his stock springs on my car, I will be putting the Eibachs on.

Does anyone think the spring rate will affect me that much?

Spring rate will be fine. They will lower your car ~0.5" less than the sedan specs.

The weight difference depends on the year. 50lbs is not right, some of the early models were closer to 150-200lbs different.
