Wilwood Question

On the right side of my car a noise comes from my brakes. It happens when I first start driving my car. It get worst when i apply the brakes. It sounds like metal on metal. It goes away after a couple of miles. Is this normal or not.

How long have you had your Willwoods? Mine made a scratching noise when they were new. It goes away after a while.

However, these are very noisy breaks. Better get used to brake squeal!

Also, proper break in is absolutely vital with Willwoods.

They are about 2 weeks old. I did the whole bedding thing.

You may want to pull the wheel off and make sure everything is installed properly. Make sure the hub spins freely.

Also, when you installed them were any shims required? I had the Arizona Z Car kit and shim placement was critical. I had a lot of trial and error until everything moved freely.
