Brake Dust!

I have a 2004 G35X that spews out brake dust like it is going out of style. I am sick of it as brake dust is caking onto my wheels to the point where I can't even get it off! I know, I should wash it more frequently, this is easier said than done during the Nebraska winters though.

So, I am seeking advice from the experts on here to the best fix. Reading all of the posts, and taking money into consideration, it seems that something like the Stoptech Stage 2 may be my best bet? However, I want to make sure this is going to solve my problem before I throw down the cash.

Thanks in advance!

If you are willing to accept a slight reduction in braking performance, changing your pads to a low dust ceramic could resolve your problem.

I changed my stock pads to Hawk HPS, and the difference is night and day. Low dust, and I only have to clean my wheels once every 2 weeks. Never looked back

2003 and 2004 sedans and coups are notorious for large amounts of brake dust and faster wear due to an agressive pad compound, If you don't mind a very slight reduction in stopping power, I've seen very positive results with akebono ceramic brakes, less dust and longer wear too.

Careful with low dust pads in cold or rainy climates...you WILL see a drop off in initial brake bite and have longer stopping distances. They dust because they work well.

If I wanted to upgrade to the Stoptech Stage 2 as a performance upgrade, would they produce as much dust? What about stopping power in colder climates?
