My g coupe is starting to get some miles on it and I think the suspension needs a little freshening up. Any ideas on what to get relatively cheap?

How many miles & whats the problem?
What do you hope to accomplish/gain?

 

95k miles and the suspension seems a little loose... Thinking in the area of springs and shocks and just something with better than stock handling and decent ride quality

 

Check all your torque specs with a torque wrench and replace bushings
for a little more cash $350-$450 get some sway bars and reduce body roll

 

Get new shocks, Tokico HP(blue) just for spirited driving, or Tokico D-Specs, if you want the adjustability. Springs will not do anything.
Rear sway bar for $150 is all you need, forget the front-I had it and ditched it, even though I track and autocross.
If you have no knocking/clunking, then your bushings are fine. I am not sure if there're any option to replace bushings only on G-you may have to drop big coin on entire suspension arms.
