Most shops go by flat rate, and programs such as All Data, Mitchell OnDemand, etc will list a time for a job. I would guess that rotor/pad replacement would be about 1.5 hours per axle.

Some shops may charge a flat rate for all brake jobs, especially brake/muffler shops, so I'd look into those first. They may be significantly cheaper.

Depends on which Brands of Pads & Rotors you going with. I have the same year as yours and I have X-Drilled Brembo Rotors and Nismo Pads. Also, your Brembo's will determine which pads you'll be able to fit into it. I wanted to go to Akebono Racing Pads but they were too thick for the Brembos. I've also heard some good stuff on the Hawk Pads. Good luck.

It's not hard to do at all if you're willing to spend a little time and check out the DIY section.

If you're a handy man, then DIY is the good thing to learn. Just make sure everything go back together right and I'll bet you, you will feel better than bring to shop. If bring to shop make sure you tell them to use towels to wrap the calipers b4 they clamp the pistons out for new pads. Bad experience for me getting chipped paint of those Brembos, DIY for me since.

Last year, it was $260 for labor only to replace all 4 pads/rotors at my cousin's NTB. Brought my own parts. I paid about $220 with the 20% friends/family discount....I have a sedan, non-brembos though, but not sure if that would really make a difference on labor.

I can't imagine paying that much for that job. I'm sure it's normal but if you DIY, you can put that $260 towards a lot of other things.

It might have taken me 2-3 hours to do the job and that's in a one-car garage with jackstands, no lift. That also included time to clean the inside of all of my wheels. It was probably less than that but I wasn't keeping track.
