Coilover, help?

Alright guys, got the tein coilovers on and had them on for about a month. Ride great, did the installation myself and have no problems, adjusted camber and all that good stuff. I know everyone's rides differ from drop to drop but for those of you who slammed your teins in the back all the way and couldn't achieve the lowest drop you want what did you do? I've heard remove "collars" or something but I am not familiar with that and I've heard spring mount mod? What did you guys do? I'm looking for maybe a 1/2" more at the most. help out guys.

No victory, complete FAIL. THe tein basics still use the OEM rubber springmount on the top of the coilover system in the rear suspension. Therefore, the springmount mod CAN be utilized on the basics, once again, BustedJustin errr....Lawy'dU has been owned again

he never specified that he has basics, only coilovers. Nice try. If it is true that he has basics, then the springmount mod can be used. Because the OP never specified, this has led to confusion.

If the OP has any other tein coilover setup, then no the springmount mod cannot be used.

Too many people have owned you besides me it's not even funny lol. Let's not get into it old man. If you actually modded your car you would actually be able to figure out some of this stuff rather than just reading what other people have written (which for the most part is incorrect).

Oh PLEASE let's get into it. Exactly where have I been pwnt for anything resembling something serious? ie.. technical matter?

You brag about "modding" your car.
Who installed your coilovers? Yep, a shop.
Who installed your FI? Yep, a shop.

Brag about modding when you actually do the important **** yourself.

OH wait. We've had this dicussion before. You must have forgotten to reply.
