My thoughts on Tein 350Z S techs before and after pics

I purchased the S techs brand new and unused from a guy at my350Z a week ago. I chose the S tech over the H tech because I wanted a slightly lower drop. The install went without any complications with the help of my friends John (sir boostalot) and Armando (Dimeo187). Thanks guys

The rears as you know are very easy to install, and they were completely done in about 30 minutes. The front springs...well that took much longer.

In the end I was happy with the drop. Since the springs are new I expect them to settle in the next couple of weeks and drop just a little more. We did not install the rear SPC camber kit simply because we did not have the right tools for it so I will get them installed soon. Since the springs are new there was no noticeable difference in camber yet. This to me seems like a perfect drop for a daily driver, specially since I plan to get an after market front bumper and sideskirts in the future.

My plans are to wait a few weeks to allow the springs to settle, then follow the DIY on "the springmount mod" https://g35driver.com/forums/brakes-suspension-diy/137046-diy-cutting-rear-springmount-aka-springmount-mod.html in order to have a level drop, at this time I will install the SPC rear camber arms to correct any camber issues.

here are the before and after pics.

other future mods to come include Mrev2 + 5/16 spacer, 20" I forge or Work VSXX rims.

Once again thanks for all the help on the install to Sir boostalot and Dimeo187.

I'm trying to decide between Stech and Htechs myself. Do you have any other after pics from a level vantage point with a side view of the car? This pic seems to be up the driveway.... I'd also be curious to see how out of spec your fronts end up being....

looks good. I'm also in a torn decision about the 350 s or h techs. I have a steep driveway and I don't wana scrape but I want that noticeable dropped look.. UGH! Another sleepless night!

This is what they look like so far, like I said the springs should settle a little more with time. If you look closely the dirt on the rear tires is a tell tell way of knowing just how much of the tire is making contact with the road. I'll post more pics when I do the springmount mod.

I liked the drop I had with 350Z S-Techs. Even with my Greddy side skirts and Kuruma Z front, the car wasn't too low.
