id say BC or Tein Flex, but i think Megan is made by the same company as BC so those should be pretty good as well

I came from the 240sx and Lexus SC300 community, I've tried MR street, Tanabe Sustec Pro and Tein flex coilover. I'm not impressed with any of them, maybe they are all entry level coilover, their damping aren't that well at all. Like many typical JDM coilover, its overdamp in compression, but underdamp in rebound. Not to mention, the material finish can do better.

I've settle with Stance GR+Pro coilover on my S14 right now, and I'm very satisfied with the quality and craftmanship of the product. I use it on the street, the damping is very good and civilize on public road; and I also autocross it regularly, after I dialed it in, the car handling flawlessly (I'm touring class points leader in my region).

BTW, the rear shock of Tein Flex on the Lexus SC300 are blown in just 1 year of street use. so, go figure

if you are looking for entry level coilover, give Stance a try, they have line up for 350z

I think you should be more specific on which one from each brand...

Megan: I ran those as a test for the manufactuer, IMO only worth considering if you get them at 1/2 price and only if the front springs are 2 Kg softer.

Bc Racing (they make the Megans, but blame Megan for spec'ing themselves into poverty) I don't trust them after the Megan experience

Tanabe: I'm sure your talking about their lowest priced offering, I would pick the Eibach setup over them even though both are twin tube setups

Eibach: Of your choices, IMO the best choice because they are relabeled KW variant1 coilovers. Still, they aren't perfect. Twin tube construction, and I will not run progressive springs.

Tein: Pretty sure your talking Basics. Even though, like pretty much every single coilover that gets installed, many good owner comments exist. Too many bad one's exist. Also a twin tube design.

OTHER: Stance GR+, IMO even though I won't touch them, based on what you want, they make the most sense. Make sure you get the true coilover setup because of how much drop your talking about.

Based on what you want the Stance setup is your best choice. While I don't see you spending Zeal money to get something that is "really good", I'd take the Stance over Form and Function any day, lessor of two evils IMO.
