1.hows the ride so far compared to stock? comfort wise n stiffness/softness?
2. did u do the rearmount mod?
3. are those 18s or 19s stockies?

Nice drop..im researching my drop options.with the least hassle of camber n all that stuff. this looks like the ideal setup...and the similar color
I have 17s stocks rite now. and looking at 19s or 20s aftermarket...the rear tires are wearing out LOL..

thanks

Sorry,

I know my response is a little late but I've been super busy with work. To answer your ques:

1. Ride is almost exactly the same as the stock sport suspension. The ride might be a little stiffer but I like it more. The softer spring rate of the rear htechs compared to the stock sport suspension seem to help the ride slightly. It seems a little more stable. I did a LOT of research and this was the perfect setup for me. 350Z Htechs lowered the car more than the G35 Htechs (350Z Htechs have stiffer spring rates - thats a good thing) but not so extreme that I will need a camber kit. The height on every install will vary slightly even when the same springs are used on identical G coupes.

2. I didn't do the rear mount mod, but I want to because the rear is still a little too high for me. I don't have the tools or the space to do it so I may take it to a shop.

3. 19s

Well the fronts are 20 mm Project Kics w/ hub centric rings and the rears are from ebay, off name brand. The reason for the mix and match is because I got the project kics for the front for really cheap. The reason I went with the ebay spacers is because a couple of friends had gone this route and have had no problems. I have also spoken to other car guys that felt these are just as good as the name brands. They also have good feedback with regards to other wheel spacers purchased.
Yeah I know some people would never buy the ebay spacers, to each his own.

Sorry to bring this up again months after the OP, but wondering how it's working out for you now a few months later? I want to do the same thing to mine (we have almost the same car, mine's an '05 though) and was just wondering about your tire wear issues, rubbing, ride quality, would you do anything different, etc? Thanks a bunch.

Did you measure any L/R height differences. I was looking to pick up some H-Techs, but the L/R height differences really bother. I wonder if this is a product of using springs not designed for the G, or what. I would have thought the architecture on the G and Z were similar enough that there would not be any problems. Are the Z owners measuring any H-Tech L/R height differences?

Maybe 1/4 difference on a quarter tank of gas. Pretty even when full tank.

The thread owners car? G's in general? Z's in general? Please clarify.

I measured my stock 05 6MT yesterday, using top rim to fender lip measurement to remove tire compression. I have ~3/4 tank of gas, and the rear was even within 1/32", the front varied by 1/16"
