Finally dropped the G

Well I finally bit the bullet and dropped it on Tein 350Z htechs with wheel spacers. I didn't want to deal with a camber kit or too harsh of a ride. Hopefully I will get back into spec after I do the allignment in about 5 weeks. The drop really looks better in person as opposed to the pics, it's more noticeable in person.

I was afraid I wouldn't but I actually like the ride more than the OEM sport suspension. The rear end sticks to the road better, especially over rougher roads with rutts and potholes. If anyone is interested I got the work done at R&D Factory in Montebello CA. Edward did the work for MUCH less than anyone else would do in SoCal and it was quality work. The guys there are really cool. So here are some before and after pics. I'll need to take some better ones later.

AFTER

Thats what I was going to do but I didn't want to do the allignment too soon. I don't drive my G too much. Got it in June 06' and only have 15k miles on it.

Looks perfect, my ideal drop!

Did you cut the springmount or no? Also, what size spacers did you get?

the rear sticks better? i thought the rear springs for the 350z htechs were softer than the stock sport suspension.

They are, but on rougher roads the softer springs seem to absorb the bumps and rutts better.
