If this has been covered already, I apologize. I searched but didn't see anything relevant.

I'm just curious what performance advantage the Brembo brake package gives the '03 and '04 6MT coupes. Does anyone know of any head-to-head comparisons done between the two? I'm interested to know if the stopping distance is shorter with the Brembos or if they resist overheating better.

stopping distance is almost identical, fade resistance is superior

That's what I figured. Any brakes strong enough to lock up under a hard stop should provide enough power to bring a car to a halt in a short distance... at least once. Doing that repeatedly is another story.

Thanks for the reply!

What he said.

Stopping distance is directly related to the tires on the car.

"Better" brakes translate into more heat-buildup resistance.
