clunking
clunking
Well i installed my greddy coil overs about 4 weeks ago with no problems whatsoever, no sounds, no noises nothing. about a week ago i put in front and rear stillen sway bars, and recently i have been noticing a clunking sound coming from both the front and rear of the car (more the front). now i know for a fact that all the bolts and everything are secure i had gone over everything with a fine tooth comb, and even made sure yesterday when i was adjusting my coil overs that everything is still snug and tight. What i think is that my endlinks are going/went bad. I went up to north jersey to visit my gf and the roads here are horrendous, lots of tiny bumps due to roots from trees growing. If anyone can help me with this it would be great, and i dont want to have to spend 300 on new end links just to keep my sway bars. If anyone has had the same problem, help a brotha out! Thanks
it's most likely you have have to spend $300 on endlinks ... i got the same sound with after market sway bar. I drove my car without sway bars and
endlinks, i didn't get any clicking sound. So i know endlinks is the problem. After
that put in new endlinks, no more annoying clicking sound
hope it helps,
Mike

yea i was just reading alot on my350z.com and searching through some threads on here. I guess the power grids are what im going to get. Now one question. Since they are adjustable, do i want the endlink to be a perfect 90 degree angle when the car is on the ground or up on jackstands? i dont think im going to corner balance my car im not a track/ weekend racer and ive already spent too much money on this thing in the recent weeks. it just seems like u do one thing u gotta do it all, my maxima was so much different lol
