New G, need ideas for rims

Title says it all, just closed on a 06 white 6MT G today.

I'm so hyped to drive the car, but it's all the way in Houston and I live in Chicago suburbs. Hopefully I can go pick it up next week some time.

Anyways, any ideas on what rims would look good? I was thinking staggered 18" front and 19" back.

Post pics if you can.

Thanks in advance everyone!

What looks good depends on what YOU like and what your budget allows. Please search...there are tons and tons and tons of threads about wheels on IP coupes. The car has been out for over 5 years, and there are A LOT of examples for you to look at.

Do work son

The IP (not white) G is one of the nicest colors offered IMO. You have the freedom to do so many smooth looking exterior mods. For one, the CF hoods look spectacular, the black roofs look amazing, and wheel choices: you can go in any direction (gold, black, etc.). Gold wheels look amazing on the IP.

yeah I definitely agree the IP (not white ) is the nicest color for the G. Thats why I went all the way to Houston to buy mine. It was so hard to find an IP/wheat 6MT for a reasonable price.

After looking through the forums though I'm leaning towards Volk, maybe time attack, they have the a really distinct style, very attractive but not flashy. If not time attack then polished silver, not a fan of gold. I saw some Mayas that looked really nice but I forget the name.

I am in a similar spot as the OP. I got an 06 coupe last week and was thinking about picking up a set of the OEM 19's and having them powdercoated to match the white of the car. Any thoughts? My thoughts are it will either look amazing, or way too over the top and I will want to have them recoated.

Anyone have a white coupe with white rims? I would love to see some pics if anyone has some.

you could maybe pull off white rims if your car is dumped to the ground. At stock height it will look horrendous

^agreed^

I was thinkin black with a deep chrome/polished silver lip...19" or 20"

And to go with the black rims black out the tail lights and grille (leave the fuji logo chrome) and paint the headlights black...possibly get an overlay for the roof too

What you guys think?
