Question about Eibach springs

I'm looking to lower my G while getting some handling upgrades, so i'm buying the Eibach lowering springs, but i'm caught up between the regular "Pro-Kit Lowering Kit" which drops it 1-1.5" or the "Sportline Pro-Kit Lowering Kit" which drops it 1.7-2.3".

Few questions:

1) I'm worried the regular pro-kit won't drop the car to any significant level. Will i even notice a 1-1.5" drop on the car?

2) I'm also worried about the ride comfort. Usually when u drop the car lower to the ground you lose some ride comfort and you end up feeling every bump in the road. I was wondering if anyone that had these springs could tell me anything from experience.

Thanks.

Why would you think that lowering springs would actually improve handling by any significant amount? Study Tire Rack tests on springs, shocks, sway bars which show 1 or 2% improvement at best.

Well dropping your car even a inch you will notice the ride difference and the look of your car. Also if you have wheels that are bigger then the stocks that came with your car and you drop. You will see the difference just by looking at your car.

As far as the difference between the two eibach go with the sportline. Just heard that the pro kit is really stiff on the ride.

Also you need to realize that you aren't dropping a Camry or Corolla here, the stance of the G35 is already pretty low. I think if you see pics of the ProKit here on driver.com you will notice that the car sits pretty low. Every G that I have seen on here that has the Sportlines looks pretty slammed. Personally, I think the 1" (plus maybe another .5" after settling) that the PK gives you is plenty. If I wanted slammed, I'd get coilovers so that I could at least adjust it for daily driving.
