I havent done aligment yet, but I do see some toe adjustment is needed and camber is slightly negative.
You guys think a month from installation day is good for aligment?

good suggestion, but before doing this, undo your rear swaybar andOriginally Posted by redlude97
trim .25" off the passenger side springmount to even it up
see if it's not giving preload. if there is no change, then go ahead and
trim away and/or add spacers on the driver side to even out.

When I had my h-techs the right rear was slightly higher than my left rear. Must be a common thing.
It's been almost 2 weeks now since I installed them. Visually, the difference is getting less. Though I didn't actually measure it, but looks like the rear left settled maybe another 0.2 inch.
Not sure if this have to do with how full the tank is, or the long distance drives I've done in the last couple days that helped it settle.

I corrected mine by trimming one springmount more than the other.

thought I'd bump this rather than starting a new thread...
I had 350z S-Techs (not H-Techs) installed about two weeks ago. Right now for both front l/r, I can get two fingers in to my first knuckle. The back left fits two fingers snug, while in the back right, I can fit two fingers with room to spare.
First off, the two fronts are the same, while the back two are different. Secondly, it seems higher than it was when I was on the OEM 19s, but the tire sizes are very similar. Why could this be? I feel like it should be lower and that maybe they aren't seated properly? I doubt settling has much to do with it, because settling will only be ~.1-.3 inches, which is negligible.
Next, I'm curious about this whole springmount mod. Just to inform, I'm not going to be getting a camber kit at all (I have my reasons
). I would love to drop the rear some more, but I haven't found any solid evidence as to how this will affect the ride quality, such as the spring rates and what not. I mean if I could, I would cut off an 1" in the rear. Any help would be appreciated.

Try it again with a tape measure. Measure from the top of the rim to the edge of the fender, this way you will get a true drop comparison without tire taking in account. Also, park the car somewhere else, a flat level surface.
I had my Z h-tech for 4 months now. Originally thought I had half-inch difference left to right rear, but last week I measure it again on several different surfaces, it turns out that my old measurement was on a slope surface. Now I know have 0.25" difference left to right rear, on full tank it's perfect even.

good ideas jlin...
One thing I forgot to mention is that the left rear is a PS2 where the right rear is an Advan Sport, not sure if that makes a big difference or not.

I have the same situation in my sedan but with nismo-tuned 350Z springs and shocks. It seems that the issue comes from using progressive springs in the rear and weight not even distributed. Can you guys with this problem confirm you have progressive springs in the rear axle?

I not too sure about sedans. Try a several different grounds because not all surfaces are flat, with full tank, measuring it with a tape measure or ruler from the edge of the wheel to the edge of the fender.Originally Posted by mesias

I measured already with the same readings. The full tank lessen the difference, but when it is empty the higher gap is obvious in the passenger side. A "heavy" passenger also even the car out but after a while it goes back. When it's time for new tires i'll change rear springs for linear ones from a 350z, i'm very confident this will solve the situation.

I dropped my coupe with 350z springs. Driver side i can fit to 2 fingers snug and passanger two fingers and i can move up about 1/4 inch. Question is When I was changing the springs I took the spring mount out and noticed that the mount was uneven at the top and when i put it back I am not sure if it sat in the exact same place,(On driver side I didn't take out the spring mount) so maybe that made passanger side higher a little?

Damn it! I was about 5mins away from making a phone call and buying a used set from a local z owner, but I will now reconsider.
