Sedan S-Tech versus other drops
Sedan S-Tech versus other drops
I notice many people are running 350z or G coupe spring on their sedans because the heavier weight provides a better drop. Is there something wrong with running Sedan S-Techs as they seem to provide the lowest drop out of all the Tein solutions (including 350z/G Coupe Tein springs)?
Im going with these!!!
What do u guys think???

There are actually quite a few reasons why you are noticing more sedans lowered on revised 350Z or Coupe’ springs.
I. Revised 350Z and coupe’ springs cost less than aftermarket springs.
II. Aftermarket springs require the upgraded sports package Tokico struts for proper operation.
III. Lowering the G35 sedan more that 1.1” will require a camber kit in the rear at least
IV. Rim size is also a potential problem, staggered 19” rims on a G35 sedan that is lowered on Tein S-techs or Eibach RS Sportline springs will require the rear fenders to be rolled.
My 2006 Obsidian Black sedan with sports and premium packages is lowered on Eibach Pro-Kit springs. The drop is 1.1” front and rear with an even gap between the tires and fender.

How typical...
1) Guy asks about lowering springs
2) Another guys posts his suspension set-up
3) Third guy wants to know about his painted grille and wonders if headlights will match someday
Makes me hear the Sesame Street Song "One of these things is not like the others"...
