Suspension experts please
Dont worry, this is not another 350z H or S tech question...
I am looking at putting new shocks and struts on my 05 Coupe. I noticed that almost all shock manufactures list different part numbers for same year G35 Coupes (sport and non-sport) and the 350z. I have looked and looked for specs with no luck.
My question is: are the 350z shocks shorter and or valved differently? This would be helpful to know as I am on shorter aftermarket springs.
Thanks!

I understand that they are interchangeable. Thank you.
I am wondering if anyone knows if they are valved differently (which might be useful information) and or are a different length. A shock that is shorter (with possibly a different point where the shock itself bottoms out) would be useful. Being lowered, I want to make sure the suspension has full travel to the bump stops and that the shock itself does not bottom out.
Thank you!

i know that the tokico d-specs for the 350z are shorter than the g35. i went with lowering springs for a 350z and went with d-spec for the 350z also. i was thinking that sence z springs lower the g 1/2 in. more, a shock made for the g would be more compresed.
