Should I get Cheap Rotors??

I'm gettin ready to buy some new rotors for my brembo application(front), stock or drilled and slotted, doesnt really matter to me. I went on eBay and saw these drilled and slotted for 80 bucks!! for a pair. So far the prices i've seen online are 80 being the lowest then it goes up to 130 to 300, most being non name brand...is it a good idea to get some cheap ebay rotors, or the cheap 130+?...i'm an average driver

My question is your life worth that much? If not then buy it if it is then you know the answer. I don't understand why someone would go cheap on something as important as brakes or tires on a car...I;m not telling you go and buy the most expensive tire or brakes but at least go OEM or better. Stick with a company that did a lot of RD on the product.

Unfortunately it takes Xray crystallography and a serious lab to analyse which of the 8 grades of cast iron you purchase in rotors...........only the foundry knows.

Diffferent cast iron grades combined with different pads have a unique sound [squeel] so be sure your rotors have been tested with the pads you select!

EBC's are good if you can deal with the gold zinc plating. For whatever reason they do import rotors in gold zinc and domestic in black zinc. I got mine in black but it was a one off that they did for me and doubt they would do it again.
