Just a comment-is the regular price $500? I ask because when I have seen/been a part of other Group buys the savings are substantial...$25/$50 does not seem that much..
This retailed for $500 before. But without this group buy, nobody will be able to get this strut bar as Scott is not making them anymore. So even if there was no discount, it's a great opportunity that should not be missed.

that would be nice to get the price cut. if you are thinking about it, that means you want it. you will kick yourself later for not getting it when it might not be made.

LOL...I hear you...

Is the normal price $500?

Does the $450 include shipping?

This is the first time I have heard of any company passing on the CC fees..paypal I can kind of understand but using a CC....?

Will this clear CAI's and 5/16' spacers?

As I was posting the others were also no one blast me for asking the pricing question!

I did not realize they were not being made any more...if these are so good why did he stop production? Are these made one at a time by hand?

for what i understand, scott was the original designer of the bar when he used to work at VRT (violent racing), he left and opened his own shop, Relentless Autosports. I'm assuming that running the shop takes precedence and may not have as much time like he did at VRT.

The price does NOT include shipping, that will be added once it is finished. You're right, not a lot of savings for a GB, but as good as this bar is, can't let this deal pass up.

and yes it will clear plenms as the bar sits in front of the engine. CAIs you have to put down which one you have when you write your name down on the list.

then go with a CAI that you know will work with this bar. Most CAI, if not all, yield hardly any HP if any, some like the injenin an NA setup, decreases hp.

Scott is always super busy and out of town racing pretty much every weekend.

The isn't a group buy really, so don't think just because we get 10 people to buy it we should get a huge discount. This is a "some people want this product that isn't made anymore, but if there is enough interest we can make a few". I'm sure it would fit most intakes, CAI just have a tube that goes down to the front of the car, of course it would fit that. The popcharger/stillen also don't sit any higher, so there shouldn't be a problem. If you want a strut bar, just buy it. This will probably be your only and last time to get a hold of this bar.

those are good points, this is a one of a kind run, so we're pretty lucky if it goes through.

This is the first I heard of any CAI's decreasing HP/TQ...what are you basing your statement on? Dyno's?

I know some manufacturer's put dyno sheets on their web sites to show gains and they can be manipulated one way or another but I think 10 np/tq gains are realistic.

Thanks for explaining that, it makes a lot more sense.

Where is the list of CAI's the strut bar will fit?
