New to the forum: Brake and rotor questions
Hey guys,
I recently became an owner of a 2003 G35. So far I enjoy the car. I bought it used with 51000 on it. Currently when I brake my care stutters and I'm being told that it's an issue with the rotors. I'm weary on taking it to a dealer as I know they charge a ton to repair. I've searched through this forum to try and find answers to my question before I made this thread but I suppose it was a lot of info and I'm not quite sure I found what I needed. I wanted to get a better idea what I will be paying to replace everything. I haven't taken it in to get looked at yet so I can't say if both the front and/or back brakes and rotors need to be replaced. What I can say is that I'm not looking for anything fancy, just something that will be good quality and will last a while. Can anyone help? Lemme know if you need more info and I'll do the best to provide it. Thanks in advance.

can you do the brake work yourself? If so just get the brembo blanks or other equivalent rotors for front and back and get OEM or equivalent pads for front and rear. Probably cost you 600 bucks for parts and free labor if you do it yourself. Otherwise, you could probably just take the parts to any shop and just pay and hour of labor to do the job.
