Brakes squeak! Shop messed up on my brakes! need help!

ok so i recently bought this 2003 g35 auto coupe with about 49k on the car.. and i dont know if the first owner did the brakes yet..

i went and did the brakes, but shop messed up on resurfacing the rotors.. and they put on some cheap metal brakes.. now it sqeaks like theres no tomorrow..

i bought hawk hps brake pads.. but shop tells me that the rotors might be too thin to resurface...

what you guys think.. 50k... do you think the rotors are good to resurface or no?

and how much would rotors cost for all 4 sides? im not looking into high performance.. but just rotors that wont have the squeaking sound.. i want my car to run normally...

please help guys.. im on a budget.. any recommendation is fine..

i have an 04 with stock brembos with 28k and my rotors are thin...they said that they just have enough to be resurface. im just going ahead and getting new rotors. $450 for some stop tech rotors shipped from a vendor on this site, but thats for brembos. for a AT, it should be cheaper

stick with OEM!! for real. unless you move up to BBK, OEM is the way to go...

you will pay a pretty penny but you can install them your self.... Just call up the parts department of your nearest Nissan and infiniti dealership

someone needs to learn how to use the search button...or at least talk to a live person at a parts shop (so they can get pissed as the other guy is trying to hold in his laugh)

also finding out what bbk means would help you out alot too...and if you already know thats even worse

it doesnt matter how many miles u have to determen if you can resurface. it matters how harsh the pads were and if the rotors are to thin. they have to measure the thickness.

The brake shop should have the ability to measure the rotor thickness and tell you for sure if they can be resurfaced.

I like the aftermarket rotors from www.r1concepts.com. The plain blanks are inexpensive and work great.

One thing that makes brakes squeak is lack of OEM shims on the new pads. The shop should have installed the stock pad shims on the new pads along with anti-squeak compound.
