Brakes Just Ordered! OCAutoparts rotors + Hawk HPS Pads

After doing so much research on the forum, I finally decided to go with OC Autoparts for their rotors and HPS pads!!! I am really excited and can't wait to see them on my GGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG!!!!!!

The deal was great! Mentioning the referral from this forum knocked $10 off the price. I was also given another $20 discount. With $30 discount, I decided to get my rotor GOLD coated! And did I mention that they will drill and slot the rotor for me for free because I am G35 forum member?!!!

Man, I am excited!

Here's what the rotors look like!!

Don't forget we have a one year warranty against warping and cracking. Though you'll probably never need it, it's nice to know it's there just in case. Just make sure you keep your receipt that we'll e-mail as soon as your order is shipped out. You also have a one year warranty on yours too OCG35. Just one more thing that not all people realize is that the gold zinc in the braking surface will come off almost immediately. It still looks pretty nice IMO and the rest of the rotors will remain protected from rust. Thanks again for choosing OC Autosports and we'll e-mail as soon as we have them shipped out.

If you have any questions, just post up and I'm sure most of the members here will help out, and I'll try to help too. Remember to open your cap to your master cylinder. I've been told that doing so helps prevents bubbles from getting into your brake lines and you wouldn't have to bleed your brakes later? Can anyone confirm?

For those of you who have the Coupe 2WD..make sure you tell them it's for a coupe not for a sedan and it's for a 2WD not a 4WD, and the pads are different...

OC was very quick in delivering the products. It took two days to ship from CA to AZ!! Eder (I am really sorry if I spell your name wrong) was really helpful in answering my rookie questions.

After finding out that the wrong pads were sent, I called them. Dave helped and did research to find out that the pads sent were for the 4WD (the only one that they have on the catalog for 05' Coupe) and he asked the supplier to shipping the correct ones out for me...

I will defintely post pics when done!

From what I've read, SS brake lines are a huge component of an OEM brake upgrade. IMO you should get them to complete what you have.
