Camber kit install then alignment?

Hi, I would like to install my rear camber kit myself and take it to Firestone (for the lifetime deal) for an alignment.

Is there any issue with installing then driving to get an alignment or should I just have someone install at a shop and align it right there?

Also you do you guys recommend going to an infiniti dealer, performance shop or firestone for the alignment?

thanks in advance

Agreed, It shouldn't be a problem to drive a short distance, but if the car starts handling funny or has a hard pull, you may want to tow it. ( actually if the car starts handling funny or pulls really hard, you probably installed something wrong or it's really out of adjustment. )

I'd go with a performance shop which can get me an allignment to my specs, but if not dealer ( if they can get your car on the allignment rack ) or firestone shouldn't be a problem. They may not be as accurate ( ex. they will generally just get it within the recommended ranges, rather than exactly to a specific measurement, ) but a lifetime allignment deal is pretty good on the budget. Don't forget to always have them print a before and after measurement of your allignment. It's good to keep records.
