bleeding brakes

hey quick question, when i bled my brakes (2 person method, one person pumps one person opens bleed valve) when i open the bleed valve and the oil comes out, sometimes i hear the noise of the brake fluid rushing through the lines. if i actually hear that noise, does that mean air got in? or is it normal to hear the brake fluid rush through? i did keep bleeding until there were no air bubbles though.

just lots of pressure ... fluid is moving through a tube so there might be some noise .. or it could be the noise from the brake pedal when pushed

if your brake bleeding came out with no bubbles and your brakes feel normal

dont worry about it

just make sure you close the valve before the flow stops. you should close it while the foot is on the pedal. Once the flow stops it will suck back in air. Also, just crack it open don't unscrew it a lot, doing so will allow air to enter from the threads.

This is why you use a clear vinyl hose with one end submerge into clean brake fluid and one on the end of the bleeder screw. So first you just pump to put brake fluid through the line. Then you close. Then pump 5 to 12 times and with the last pump, you hold down. And then you open the bleeder screw. Right there you don't have to worry about air getting sucked back up into the line.

yea i used a clear vinyl hose and i'm pretty sure no air got sucked back in cuz i can see the air cavities in the tube and i can see the bubbles come out as well. i also only opened the valves when the pedal was in the down position. i was just wondering about the sound, cuz when you open up the valve, and as the fluid come gushing out, you can hear the fluid moving along the lines in the car, kind of, at least for me. so i thought maybe air came in through the mc, but i checked the level and it was fine.
