suspension noise.. help!

okay so for a couple of months now ive been having this weird noise come from the rear suspension. it only happens when i go over bumps and it sounds like when metal pops in and out of place and i guess it could be the clicking noise everyone is talking about?... any ideas on what it could be? any chance that it has something to do with having installed springs? im thinking it might be one of the shocks?

I had a similar problem, but it was from the front. My endlinks came loose from my sway bar and the noise was the sway bar sliding back and forth on the end link bolt.

okay lets see if i can describe it as much as possible so that you gusy can tell me all the possible problems. the noise is LOUD. sometimes i can have my music pretty loud and still hear it. when im driving i hear it in the passenger rear but those who are in the back tell me it sounds like its coming from the drivers side. it sounds like a loud clunk, almost as if when metal gets dented and pops out? i guess thats the only noise i can relate it to besides a clunk. its been happening since i got the s-techs. the noise happens on uneven surfaces and speed bumps. ive had it now for 7,000 milesw and its driving me nuts because i need to have the music blasting to ignore the noise -_- so what are all the possible problems?

crawl under your car and look around. sounds like either your end links came loose or your sways or something worse.

Ok found my problem... dealer left the rear end links loose and did NOT grease the metal bushings..... tightened everything, and molykoted (anti-sieze) the bushings and made sure it was on firm. CLANKING WENT AWAY!!!!!

My front struts came in today so I'll be installing them aswell.

how can i determine which one of these it is? i got underneath the car the other day when the shop was changing the tires and i couldnt see anything wrong with the endlinks or bushings.. would i just have to grease up or lube the bushings?

try greasing the swaybar bushings first and then see if the noise goes away. If that doesn't work then it is most likely ur endlinks.
