I just purchased a 2005 G35 AT Sedan with 38,200 miles for $15,500. The Used Car Dealership gave me carfax and it says that they purchased it from an auction. It also said that 1st owned got this car in April 05, and gave it back July 08. That's 3 years - 3 months. As far as I know dealers lease program is a39 month lease, so I think they guy leased it out and then gave it back when lease was up. My question is this: "How can I know whether or not he ever got this car serviced at Infiniti dealer? How can I tell if he did a 15k, 30k complete services on the car? (nothing of this is mentioned in carfax)" Can anyone suggest anything that I should do right away since I have no idea what's already been done? THANKS

 

If the car has ever been serviced at an Infiniti dealer then your local dealer will be able to look it up in their computer. They can see what has been done at any Infiniti dealer in the country. CarFax will not show the service history on a car. I bought a used 2004 Coupe and my dealer was able to tell me what had been done to the car at other Infiniti dealers.
