HELP Does the direction of the slots make a difference

So I just installed some new cross drilled slotted rotors onto my car and I just realized that....according to the direction I could have made a mistake. I didnt realize untill looking at it that it was directional. SO I have the bottom of the slots running into the calipers instead of the tops. I have looked at some pictures and it seems that most have the tops running into the calipers. Did i mess up and if I did how bad is it if I do not correct it right away. Help..

The direction of the slots on the surface are not the determining factor for orientation. You have to look at the direction of the internal cooling vanes inbetween the two rotor surfaces.

I looked and they are straight they do not show a direction, or slant in a any direction they are straight. Does this make sense?
