Pretty much. I don't see how you would see any diff in ride over stock. Any diff he's feeling is prob the springs (or mental).

I think the adj d-specs are a better choice if one has to shell out for new shocks. If these springs are stiffer, they will just wear out the HPs faster

no, HPs aren't a stock replacement. they're pretty much D-Specs set to mid

Definitely don't ride or handle like stock.

Maybe mental , but I did have the same springs on the stock struts and the HPs.

You'd prob feel some difference just by swapping out 5yo oem struts to new oem ones, since they were used in conjunction with lowering springs and were prob fairly worn out. I think it really would've been a good idea to spend a few more bucks on a set of Z-version D-Specs, which have a shorter rear shock tube.

Yeah, I hear you. I only had 35k on the oem struts and shocks. I probably would have went with coilovers for a little more money instead of the DSpecs. I'm saving a little cash so I can buy your JPs
