Replacing Brake Pads

My fiance is complaing that her brakes are squealing on ger 03 G35 Coupe. I've replaced brakes many of times on older cars. Is it pretty much the same on these cars compared to the older cars? Is it pretty easy to replace the brake pads? Thanks for any help & advice!

it's pretty easy to do especially if it's just pads. there is a sticky on this same forum if you'd like to try. i heard brembos are even easier. you can also try http://www.infinitihelp.com/ and look on the ownership/DIY section for a rear brake install. make sure you use some type of brake lube on all the moving parts (shims, pad retaining clips, etc).

it's pretty easy. the fronts have this clip on them though so that it knows when they are low so be sure to hook it in right. The rears are your typical Japanese disc brake

i know what you're talking about. it's essentially a spring that goes thru a loop on the actual pad right? my axxis pads didn't have the loops so i just bent the spring out of the way...is this a vital feature?
