should i change front & rear brake pads together?

should i change front & rear brake pads together?

hey guys i have oem brakes on right now. my fronts have around 10% left and my rears have around 35%. i bought some hawk hps pads. should i get my front brakes first, or should i get both of them together. thanks

It's not required to do both at the same time since they wear at different rates. Though they certainly won't be as efficient as new pads, 35% left on the rear is still a solid pad thickness. Do your fronts, then get to the rears when they are within 20-25%.

I would do both at once this way you wont have to bother with it down the line.
