Pot Hole!

hi people, recently i had changed my springs to ebiachs coupe lowering springs on my 03 sedan, and yesterday on the freeway (57n) i hit a pot hole on the front driveside. Now i notice when im driving 80MPH+ my car vibrates in the front really bad but when i brake or make a really slight left turn it will stop for 1 second. what could be the problem?

did you check to see if the wheel was bent or cracked?

Get your car in to a tire shop and get your wheels road-balanced. The tech(s) there should be able to tell you which wheel(s) are bent and the degree of damage. This is a better way to determine if your wheels are bent when you can't find any damage on the outside.

Posted in your other thread too.

My guess is that the rim is bent (could be minor but you will feel it). You also need to have your alignment checked.

Demount tires and measure wheels on a balancer [set to grams and fine resolution]. The oem specs for wheels are that they require no more than a single 5 grams balance weight on each inner or outer plane to achieve 0.0.

Many aftermarket wheels [brand new] arrive seriously bent or never came close from factory.

Fix wheels then worry about tires.
