sedans never came with Brembo's....

Stick to OEM... they are the best, or save up for a BBK...

I too replace the fronts only. I feel like oem had better stopping distance, but a lot more brake dust. The brake pedal also didn't feel as firm. Ohh..the rotors also had alot of noise coming from them due to the slots, at first I felt as if I installed them wrong or something. What you can try is EBC rotors with OEM pads? That may be a better combo.

Of course OEM pads will be best for stopping distances. It's what they were designed for - cold stopping power - and it's why they give off more brake dust. All that brake dust proves that they are working well. The tradeoff in going to aftermarket/higher temp pads like Hawks (which resist fade better and dust less) is that they have reduced cold stopping power and poorer pedal feel. And for the street, don't bother with drilled and slotted unless you're doing it for the bling factor as you are effectively reducing surface area and thermal handling capability. Modern street pads don't outgas like old pads did, obviating the need for slots or holes.

Stick with OEM rotors and pads, or try the Centric premium rotor blanks with OEM pads.

I'm too looking for some alternatives on the front rotors and pads. I'd love to stick with OEM parts, but being told by the dealership to replace the front rotors EVERYTIME with the new brake pads really got me stunned..... I wasn't even riding my brake that hard.... After all paying $700 for the replacement job knowing that they'll be eaten like cup cakes is no fun to me at all. Thanks for all the info.
