350z Springs??

Got me a set of 350z springs (2008 model) that my friend gave me to put on my G? Anyone have experience with these on a G and how is the ride comfort? I read in a few places that it lowers the G coupe 0.5"? Not sure if thats true though.

Thanks

True, go for it. Do the rear shocks too if your coupie's not a sport.

If I read the rates correctly, revised Z and coupe sport springs have the same rate, so should be no different. Non-sport to revised Z will be stiffer, yes.

Affirmative on the 1" drop on the sedan.

The Z springs won't give you a drop in the rear.

Ah. Is that the reason some coupe guys cut the spring mount aka 'spring mount mod'? (in case OP wants to search for it)

I have the 07 revised 350z springs on my 06 g35 with the sport suspension. Basically got a .5 drop in the front. The rears did not drop b/c it was the same spring. My buddy and I compared the rear springs and they were same, even the same color code. But it was worth it for me b/c i bought the springs from him for $40 and he helped me install them. Hard enough to drive with the kuruma.

Some, but mostly it's to even out the drop with other brands of springs where front and rears aren't the same.

I cut my rear spring mounts about 5/8+".

I had the same experience with '05 revised Z springs on my '04C with the sport tuned suspension.
