Help on Lowering G35 on S-Techs

Did some research on lowering my car, and now i need some of the members assistance on doing it right.

First... i'm kinda on a budget... so don't want to go all out...

Looking at s-techs (pretty much want that aggressive look)... will I need aftermarket struts for going lower?

Will it look better with the springmount mod for the rear? I assume that will make the front and rear more even... with that said... do I need a camber kit and where can I get it cheap... I assume I do want it since I will have aftermarket rims and tires... The fronts are 245/35/19 and 275/35/19 in the rear and offsets are +15 front and +25 in the rear...

will I also need to roll my fenders?

Just trying to start a thread where i can get some assistance in getting the job done correctly... I was quote for 230 just for installation on springs... I guess it will cost more if I have a camber kit done also?

Thanks for the help!

hey.
i put s-techs on my 05 coupe about a year and a half ago.

I did the whole thing myself, took a day and I was dirty as hell when I was done. Still, it saved me $250. When I was done i took it in for an alignment and had them jack my rear camber as much as possible. The wheels are a little more tilted in then they were with the stock springs, but they're actually within factory specs.

I'm still running on my factory struts with no problems. Recently I noticed squeaking coming from the front which is from my sway bar end links. When you lower the car it puts a lot of stress on the OEM end-links since they're longer then need be. I'm about to purchase a set of adjustable ones and set them so that there's no duress there any more.

I didn't do the spring mount mod because at the time i was running 245/35/19 tires in the front and 275/35/19 tires in the rear on the stock 19" rays wheels. I figured that the car would be pretty low with the S-tech drop and the lower profile tires. I was glad i didn't because I had tons of issues with speed bumps and curbs so get in the habit NOW of looking at places you drive for anything that may cause you issues. I didn't have any issues with rubbing on that setup. I recently went back to the stock tire size on the front and rear (225/40/19 and 245/40/19) and have noticed that my fronts rub whenever I have the wheel jacked all the way in either direction. so no big deal.

How much did all this cost?
Well the springs were 150 or 200 or something along those lines and the initial alignment was 80, I think. can't really remember.

hope this helps.
