Hey guys, I encountered a very unusual noise yesterday that I've never heard on my car before. Yesterday as I was driving around with the gf we rolled down the windows to enjoy the view. I know that my pads are worn, and I have a set of project Mu pads that are getting installed tomorrow, but all the sudden I hear this scratching noise from my right front wheel as if something got stuck in my rim or rotor and would scratch everytime it rotated around. I stopped right away and took a look, the only thing I saw was the spring clip looking thing on the caliper was popped out, where on the other side it was still clipped in, but it definitely isn't long enough to reach the rim to scratch it. About 30 seconds after I started driving again the noise went away. No clue what it is, but will it go away after my pads are changed?
