If they're installed correctly, they shouldn't clunk. With the G35, normally people are getting noise from the rear. To help remedy the noise, you can cut out a piece of foam to cushion the top mount on the shocks.

Personally, my rear's tend to squeak a little bit when it's cold out. I have Tein Basic coils FWIW.

No clunk on my coils. Running Stance right now. I had some minor rattling from the passenger side rear when I had my Tein CS set.

Front passenger side clunk on my SPC a-arms...different story

There's a safety bracket on the underside of the G. It's there to prevent the drive shaft from falling out incase it ever does fall out (lol). When I first installed my coupe middy, it was hitting/clunking this part pretty hard. It's a grey handle looking like thing. See if its that part hitting.

The only time I clunk is when I got over an uneven road at higher speeds. The harsh rebound creates a clunk sound in one of my rears.

I think it might also have to do with the fact that I forgot to adjust the lengths of the shocks are dropping the rear. (I haven't had time to readjust them yet).
