TEIN CS coilover rear shock clunk noise ?
Really happy with the coilovers except for the rear Shocks.
Sounds like the strut is loose and knocking around in back on the upper two bolts. really noticable when cruising slow around the neighborhood, small bumps, small waves in the pavement.
When i get annoyed/pissed, hammer the car into a turn or accelerate hard I dont get a noise. Seems to be quiet under load.
Had a shop check out the top of the shock pillow mount assembly and its fine, they reinstalled the shocks still noisey.
Anyone else have this issue?
The guy I bought them from gave me the Tokico D's to use in the rear bc they are quiet and the mount looks beefy. So I might swap to those in just the rear.

One of my old links. I had this annoying problem when I first installed the Tein CS. After it went back to Tein for repair, problem solved. It's a Tein defect.
I totally understand how annoying this is....Good luck!

I get a clunk on my rear right whenever im cruising and the car goes over a bumpy surface. It's a pronounced clunk. And I have brand new HKS Hipermax III Sport coilovers.
I don't think its a coilover issue. I'm going to recheck and make sure all the bolts are torqued down properly. Maybe I missed a bolt
