Lowering Suspension
Lowering Suspension
Hello,
I was thinking of lowering my G. I was going with the Tein Type S springs, which will give me a 3/4 of an inch drop. I was told that anything more and you start having to look at adjustable arms to compensate for the drops.
My question is, will 3/4 make a noticeable difference? i do not want to go overboard and do anything too serious.

To lower or not....?
Let me make this clear for you, any time you lower your G35 you'll need
suspension pieces to bring the alignment back to OEM specs. This is unless
you have the cash to buy tires once a year, have you priced quality tires
recently? If you go onto Tein's site you'll discover the S-Techs will lower
your G more than 3/4". Save your $ and do the job right with coilovers and
the suspension pieces....cost + or - $3K!

man.. all that for 3/4"? I have a similar situation.. don't want anything too agressive but want to lower just a bit.. and it's still gonna run me around 3Gs? I'm waiting till I get my front bumper and side skirt so I see how much room I have to work w/. but man.. really that much?

OP explore the options aka search around, you CAN spend 3k on lowering ur car which includes the costs associated with it, or spend under 2k like i did and still get a good drop, it all depends what you want to do, just know that with a drop (springs/coilovers) you get what you pay for so dont skimp out, search around and ull see there is plenty of affordable options
dump it
no jk.. umm yea ur better of getting all the extra stuff to make sure everything is good.. most of the consequences of not putting them on (like faster tire wear) wont be noticed until ur replacing tires quicker than usual.. thats assuming that u even notice..
