i wanna go low
i wanna go low
i'm new to the g35 community, but i just purchased an 03 OB with STechs and that ain't gonna cut it. my old hatch sat so low, i could barely fit a pack of smokes under it. i'm not saying i want to go that low again, but i am in the market for a set of coilovers. i'm on limited funds, so i'd like to pick up a set of used ones. i see a lot of tein basics for sale, but i don't like the fact they have no dampening control and i heard they don't go very low. if at all possible, i'd like to keep it below a grand. can you guys help out a g newb and maybe post some pics? by the way, my g is sitting on 19s.
To really go low in the rear, consider a "true" rear coilover setup rather than one that utilizes the OEM spring bucket. Just be aware of the inherent disadvantages of that setup as well

I'll be getting my Function & Form coilovers installed very shortly. Here's a pic of my Tein Basic coilovers on 17's. It can go lower, not sure how much, but yeah, does suck that it does not have any dampening adjustment. I'm 3" above the ground from the front mud guard.
