05 G Coupe Suspension Problems

I have read from the forums here that the 05 coupe suspension is the worst suspension in the G line up? Why is that?

What is the real upgrade of the G SPORT TUNES suspension?--http://www.automotivehelper.com/topic456778.htm

*06 sway bars are way better than the 05.

*05 endlinks are way beefier than 03-04 and are used when upgrading sway bars.

*05 received the upgrade 19 inch tires without an upgrade in suspension sway bars..Is this the reason?

never heard the 05's of having any particular issues. Been running aftermarket sways with OEM endlinks for over 2 years w/o problems. 06 sways should be identical to the 05's.

Im just saying that they added 19inch rims with the 03-04 sway bars on the 05 and was not a smart move....While the 03-04 had 18inch rims so less stiff sway bars were ok...As bigger tires are added typically manufactures upgrade the sway bars to compensate with the handling....06 g35's have stiffer sway bars and have active rear steering making it an incredible handling car.

*I have read this in previous threads...Im just wondering why people said 05 had terrible suspensions was it just what i stated? or is there more?

See the sway bar and spring stickies in this forum.

The front coupe sway bar is the same in all years. Starting in 2005, the coupe rear sway bar (only) was made stiffer. It's the same sway bar in 05 and 06.

The real difference in the 05 and up suspension comes down to stiffer rear springs and stiffer shocks all around. This is a big improvement in the handling of the coupe.

And remember, though Infiniti went to 19" wheels, the widths and diameters of the wheel/tire combo did not change, so that's more or less a wash as the unsprung weight didn't change much either.

So why does adding sway bars to the coupe in 05 make a bigger difference than an 06?

Not sure. Never seen any other mfr claim that to be the case. As I've understood it, there is no difference in OEM sway bar from 05-07 6MT, but I'm not 100% sure. If I look at G35parts.com, it says that sway bars are the same part 05-07 front and rear.
