SS brake lines worth it?

Simple question i guess. I know its worth it for people who track and auto-x.

But in terms of daily driving/ once in a while spirited drive situations. I've always consider getting them done but when it came around time for it i just never did it. As far as the work goes its pretty easy and i've done one line before. Overall i'm happy with the stock setup and now looking to run hawks HPS pads, so the question is would the SS have an acutal benefit for me?

Since you helped me out, here is my reponse :
I have all 4 line replaced to stoptech steel lines. IN my opinion, there is no real difference that I can feel on a daily basis. I'm sure it's going to help in the long run. But on the daily drive, there is not much difference.

PS: I also just out Hawks HPS pads. Do they grip a lot on your ride?

its mostly for sense of mind really. Like you said track and auto x is diffrent but DD, its like running BBK, which has been proven not do do much in DD. Id still go for it just becuase SS brake lines last longer than stock.

SS lines are to reduce brake fade from repeated hard braking, which boils the fluid and causes stock rubber lines to expand.

For daily driving? Really no difference.

I've never seen a broken brake line that wasn't cut or due to a retard installing the strut wrong.

in most normal cases brakes lines just dont wear out to me as much. They are made pretty much to last the line of the car hence why i never replaced it or found a purpose to replace it.

I haven't tested the HPS pads yet, I ask about the lines because there are package deals out there.
