New G Owner spring questions ---PICS ADDED---

Guys,

I just bought a 04 g35 cpe 6 speed with 30K miles, the car is lowered i am not sure with what suspension.

The owner doesnt know either.

When i turn the wheel and look back i see green coilovers.

I commute 64 miles a day and was contemplating putting stock springs back on.

Question is do i need to put on stock springs and shocks on?

Also can i put a year any year specific springs and shocks for g35 coupe or it matters?

Any help appreciated.

Thanks,

if its green more than likely it tein...take some pics. if its a coilover, why not raise it up? if you want to put the stock springs you must get shocks

i will take pics at work tomorrow, the ride is smooth dont feel any bumps.

Also with coilovers do you need camber wear.

i think you mean camber kits...it all depends on how off you alignment is, more than likely you need rear camber arms. with coilover you can raise/lower the car as you please.

those are not coilovers...they "look like tein springs", but they can be also the fake tein springs. looks like theyre mounted on stock shocks. if you want to put stock springs on you just need to swap springs. what are you really trying to do? raise the car? what are you specs for the alignment?

How many inches is my drop?

These are the options i am looking at

1) If there is a option to raise the car up an inch?

2) Take the car back to stock springs?

Also how can we find out if they are fake or not?
