Tein EDFC on rear shocks

Does anyone have pics of the Tein EDFC mounted on the rear shocks in a coupe? I haven't taken the back apart yet, but when putting the rear shock in it looks like there is metal above the rear mount. If so does that need to be cut away to install the EDFC servo's?

How did you get the servo on the shock? Is there room enough to get your hand in there to mount it?

Put the EDFC motor on before you install the coilover on the car. I installed motors on the front coilover first also.

To late for that. The fronts are no problem, but the backs look like a bitch.

As you know, i have the TEAS as oppose to the EDFC but the installation is basically the same.

I didn't want to make a huge hole as seen above, so i cut the wire and passed it through that bigger round hole next to the square opening citymunky did. If you take your rear coilover off and feel directly above and towards the back of the car, you will feel the hole that I'm talking about.

I pulled the rears tonight and installed the servos on them, but I just left the wires tucked up in the chamber for now. When I get a chance I'll pull the panels off and decide on how I'll run the wires. I'll probably pull the fronts next weekend and install the servos on them.

Hey Munky, did you cut those holes after you installed the shocks?

I just put my comort sport coilovers in and I didnt do any of that.... Put a flash light up into the top of the shock housing and i you look thru the trunk, you will see light ( with the carpets pulled away..lol..) thru one of the small factory holes (3/8") or so. Use a Unibit to enlarge it big enough for the clip to pass. Use something to snake it thru, i used a hanger.

EDIT: now i see the hole citymunkey posted... That is behind the back seats... I went out with the wires thru the trunk side... So if u are looking into the trunk my wires were snaked towards the tailights(opposite side of Citymunky)
