I hope these pictures can give you an idea if you roll on oem 18's, dropped on Z s-techs with rear camber kit without rolled fenders.. Not too low, but definately not stock height.
"2006 6mtcoupe". will need new ties soon(22,000+ odom. miles).

I think for the purpose at hand, they're a bit too dark because you can't see where the fender stops and the tire starts.. Can't see the distance in the wheel well.. Kewl last shot though.. Like your stance.. Very nice.. I've heard the s-techs and the NF210s are very comparable.. Just different brands for the most part, but both are considered "conservative" drops.. Don't have to foresake ride comfort for the lowered appearance.

As for riding on 18s, it really depends on the LOOK you're after. If you want the fender to come closer to the top of the rim, then I'd suggest you go coils and not springs. You're right, my fender comes seemingly lower because I'm rollin 20"s and have 285/30's in the back.. The diameter of the rim is the same, so you'll come down the same distance, but you might not get the same visual fulfillment w/ a smaller rim. Your tire will be tucked, but you'll still have a substantial amount of tire that's visible.

It all depends on the look that you're after.

I know I need some better pictures but, this is mine lowered on 350Z S-Tech's with the stock 18" wheels. Haven't gotten an alignment yet but, you should NOT need to roll your fenders with this setup... I have a rear camber kit, and none for the front. We'll see this weekend how off everything is after the alignment...





I don't have trouble really with speed bumps and dips (so far). I even have a front lip so that's lower than stock too.

This looks VERY nice.. I'm more a fan of the "conservative" drop.. I like some slammed rides but that's not very practical for me.. I appreciate both I guess..

Are your plans to leave the rims like this or add some contrast w/ a TA stripe or anything? There's a LR w/ black 19" rays w/ a TA stripe, and it looks GORGEOUS.. I really like your side profile...Nice and clean.. The only thing I really would add, to set everything off would be eyelids.. That'd finish your ride of PERFECTLY.

NaiveRapture, That's funny man. I'm doing the same thing with my grill and rims. My buddy is going to paint match my rims with my black car and than do a high gloss finish and the grill, all for 350!

After reading and reading and reading. I think i've decided on the following, let me know what you think.

G35 Tokico blue shocks
350z GF210's
High Gloss black paint on my stock 7 spoke 18's
Camber for the rears (not sure what brand though, any suggestions??)
Keep the tires rotated for the front, maybe camber kit eventually
20mm front and 25mm rear spacers??

What do you guys think???

Just got my car aligned after my S-Tech's.

They weren't able to adjust the toe quite in far enough on the drivers side rear, so they got it within spec but, not as close as the tech wanted. He said I should elongate the toe bolt hole on that side so they can adjust it more.

Front toe was fine, but the camber on my front is:

Left -1.6*
Right -2.1*

Since I don't have a ton of meat left on my fronts I'm not going to spend the money on camber adjusters. It'll be cheaper to just have the front tires swapped left to right if they are wearing too unevenly. I'll worry about the camber eventually when I get new rims.

No, I'm actually a UPS driver That isn't even my house... I was taking a look at it to see if I wanted to rent it come August, had my camera with me to take pictures of the place and had just lowered my car. Waiting for the housing agent to show up I snapped a few pics.... mailman just happened to be riding by

UPS? I wont hold it against you, j/k. The local UPS guy and i chat all the time, just kill some time.

Got my alignment w/ the NF210s..

front toe
(L) .04
(R) .02

front camber
(L)-1.4
(R)-1.3

Bringing my total on the front to:
Camber -.1
Toe .06


Rear Toe
(L).15
(R).19

Rear Camber
(L)-2.3
(R)-2.1

Bringing my Total Rear to:
Camber -.2
Toe .34

I'm back to w/in factory spec, and don't need any camber or toe components based on the computer's readjustments.. I have a 6 month warranty from NTB, so I'll be taking it back in 3 months, and then again in 6 to make sure I'm w/in spec..

Hope this helps and speaks volumes for the Tenabe NF210s....

Weird that your front camber came in so close to spec and mine was so far off... Wait, what is the drop from those specific springs???
