I was wondering if anybody tried jacking up the front to take weight off of the suspension to see if that made algning the bar any easier or not. Gonna install mine this weekend and if I have any issues I thought I'd give this a try as I had wanted to see what kind of flex was in the strut towers to begin with.

??

i believe i've seen some folks post about doing that. i didn't try it though since i figured, if anything, taking the car's weight off the strut towers would cause them to separate further.

Well that didn't work. It didn't move the towers in any direction. I finally managed to get it on like others have said..loosening all the tower nuts and brute force. 10 minutes my ahss....

1 hour to get the brackets on, struggle with bar, floor jack waste of time, remove bar, loosen brackets, struggle with bar again, success, re-tighten and finally adjust.

Then another hour to find the damn nut that dropped into what wound up to be a little pocket on the side of the passenger tower.

It was worth it though, definate difference in how it corners and rides. Seems much tighter all around.

^Good to hear. I spent a total of an 1.5 over a 2 day span to get mine on. Totally worth it.

Doing some work on the caAr today, I noticed that it now looks like I've got negative camber. Could the bar have cause that? Should I be concerned / have it adjusted?

No way the bar could cause you're car to be misaligned. It doesnt attach to anything related the steering. Just get it aligned or you might have some tire issues later on.

Thanks but that's not about steering. The top of the wheels look to be tucked into the wheel housings. Never noticed this before and I'm pretty familiar with everything about my car. Doesn't look serious, just a bit more negative than stock.

G35 sedan w/ too much money in mods
If you're talking about the nuts that screw onto the bolts on the top of the strut, you just reuse your stockers.
