Arrow end link troubles!!!!!!!

ok so i just put in my stance coils, i have 3/4 corners done and the last one half way done. i ran into trouble trying to get this end link off the lower control arm. it's seems like it is slightly angled just enough to put tension on it so it doesn't wanna come out. kinda hard to see but here is a pic

i tried hammering the **** out of it and it isn't budging, i tried using a second jack to pick it up to see if it would relieve the tension or the angle... nada, i tried pry bar.. i tried everything i could think of to get it out, no luck. the other side came out very easy with the jack to raise it up to take some of the tension off but this side is just not lovin me!

any ideas at all to what i can do?????

Is the entire rear of the car up in the air? Or have you just jacked up one side (the side you're working on)? Try to get a jack under the differential and jack the entire rear up if you can. Otherwise, all the weight that's shifted over to the other side will load up the sway bar which will put a lot of tension on the side you're trying to get out.

Other thing to try, make sure the end link on the other side is also out, you said it's easier to take off. That way you can ensure there's no load on the bar. Past that if it's still stuck, spray some WD40 in there and try to work it lose. I can see a bit of rust on that end link. Also, make sure you are using a rubber mallet if you're trying to keep those end links. If you hammer on the end of it, you could mushroom the bolt and you won't be able to get the nut back on.

i tried raising the whole front of the car i figured that maybe there was excessive tension becuase of only one corner being in the air but did not seem to change anything, i also tried the wd40 and that was no luck. the other corner is all put back together with the new suspension in so the end link is connected n all still.

i don't understand how picking up the rear would help???? but i will try that.

i was thinking maybe removing the end link for the sway bar???

I would put both sides up on stans again....just the fronts and use a jack under the lower control arm to push the suspension up. That's always worked for me. You don't need to compress the suspsension much to give the end link slack to slide out. Make sure you are using a rubber or plastic mallet or at least putting a nut on the end of those threads so as not to damage the threads.

I damaged one of my end links by hammering on it...learned the hard way. Had to go to the dealership to get a replacement and miss a day of work.

i think i am learning the hard way...

it was up on jack stands on both sides, but it didn't seem to alleviate the angle of the end link. still too much tension to bang it out.

is it easy to drop the end link from the sway bar?

did u try to jack up the control arm that the end link is in? raise it a little so the whole and the endlink is side by side by the hole, should slide out easily

The end link is just held onto the sway bar by another 12/14...not sure what size, but one of the standard metric sockets.

This is what I did to get mine in. Mine was on four jack stands and I used a floor jack under the control arm.

yea i tried that! but the end link is angled weird and has too much tension, even when i jack the arm up it's still not budging! the other side came out cake like that but this is not coming out!

you guys think just taking the end link off the sway bar is the best bet??

The endlink bolt has a hex in it that is meant to be used with a hex socket and air ratchet. Use it to spin the bolt out of the mount. Most endlinks are like that for this exact reason. That's how I was able to get mine off.

Without using air it will be difficult, but yes that's what you need to do.
