Hey guys, I just recently had my car lowered 2" at a shop on Function & Form Type II coilovers last Saturday. Everything was running great until yesterday I noticed a sound coming from only the rear right suspension. It kinda makes the sound of a worn out shock, somewhat like a squeek. It only happens when when I go over a bump or something.

I'm going back to the shop this saturday to get my wheel spacers installed, and to raise the car just a little bit. Any idea what the problem might be so I can tell the guys at the shop to look at?

 

are they true coilovers with the spring around the shock? if they are, maybe they need to add a little preload to the spring so its not moving around, just a thought

 

hmmm maybe end links??? i dunno just throwing ideas

 

but i'm not sure if end links squeek

 

Haha this thread's over a year old, but thanks anyways. The noise went away after a couple days of driving, haven't had a single problem with my coilovers to this day .
